Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to speak to after counterfeit £50 notes were used at a Bath shop.
The incident happened between 2.45pm and 3.10pm on Monday, January 27, at the McColls in Bathwick Street.
Three men entered the shop separately and the first two made purchases using fake £50 notes.
The third man was unable to because the cashier did not have enough change in the till.
All three men are described as white and in their 20s or 30s, of stocky build and had Irish accents.
Anyone who recognises them is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Although these CCTV images have only just been released, at the time of the incident police did issue a warning about fake £50 notes.
That week there was also attempts to use counterfeit money, by three men with Irish accents, at Intermezzo Express in Barton Street and Made by Ben in Walcot Street.
