Brave people are needed to walk over fire in support of people with cancer in Bath and North East Somerset.
Dorothy House Hospice is looking for volunteers to take part in a firewalk at the grounds in Winsley.
The event, which takes place on Friday March 28, will give 50 people the opportunity to walk over hot coals while raising money for the hospice.
Dorothy House fundraiser Phillippa Watson said that the firewalk held last year was a big success.
She said: "It was a fantastic motivational event with hospice staff, groups of work colleagues and individuals all taking part.
"The good news is that it doesn't hurt at all."
Participants will walk over coal as hot as 800 degrees.
Jacqui Aster, 48, from Bathampton took part last year.
She said: "I couldn't take part in the longer fundraising walks so I thought I would give this a go.
"I was really excited and researched all about firewalking before the event.
"It was great to be among people who were feeling the same shared experience.
"Some people were really scared but still did it.
"I didn't feel a thing, just the texture of the coals, in fact I did it twice.
"If anyone is thinking of doing the March firewalk I'd say go for it - it's brilliant and it doesn't hurt."
Registration for the event is £30 and walkers must raise at least £100 in sponsorship, which they should bring along on the night.
All walkers must attend an hour's motivational briefing before they take to the coals while family, and friends can enjoy hot refreshments.
