Avon and Somerset Police were tonight dealing with crashes and flooding incidents all over the force area.
The force said it was aware of 22 different incidents or road closures tonight.
A van hit a telegraph pole and overturned on Lansdown Lane near Napier Road, while there were also reports of a crash in Mount Road at Southdown.
Avon Fire and Rescue said no one was hurt in the Lansdown incident. The road has been closed while crews clear up.
