Free pizza anyone?

Award winning restaurant The Stable on George Street, Bath announces plans to give all customers a free meal as part of a social media campaign. The Stable restaurant, which specializes in gourmet pizzas, artisan pies and more cider than you can shake your tail feather at, has promised to give away free pizzas for an entire evening once it has achieved an additional 1000 'likes' on its Facebook homepage. The Stable is a growing West Country success story with five restaurants now open across the South West in Bath, Bristol, Poole, Weymouth and Bridport. The event will take place in all five locations on the same evening. "We really want to thank our loyal customers and everyone who has supported us since we opened the first Stable in Bridport in 2009," says co-founder Richard Cooper. "We have made some great friends along the way – local people who come back to The Stable again and again and who have helped us to spread The Stable love. We will always stay true to our roots and we are throwing this free pizza night to thank the people who have made The Stable such a great place." Richard continues, "We share all our news on Facebook and many of our customers share Stable related pictures and stories via the social media site, so we decided this would be the best place to communicate the event and encourage more people to find out what The Stable is all about. It's the first time we have done this and there has been a fantastic response so far" The campaign involves customers logging into their Facebook account and pressing 'like' on The Stable's homepage. Once 1000 new 'likes' have been recorded, it will be free pizzas for everyone. The Stable offers relaxed, canteen-style dining with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and locally sourced toppings – many from nearby farms and producers. There is a fuss free vibe whereby hand made, stone baked, sourdough pizzas are brought to the table on breadboards with cutters. West Country heritage is represented in the drinks too, with over 80 ciders available at each Stable bar, ranging from local scrumpies to posh cidre bouches. The concept weaves together the owner's passion for authentic local ingredients with a rustic, West Country aesthetic and a modern, urban spirit. The Stable bar and restaurant will be also opening on Newquay's Fistral Beach in Cornwall in April and in Falmouth later this year. Like The Stable Facebook page here
