A new vet practice has celebrated its arrival in Weston.
The Highcroft Veterinary Group has opened a new practice on Weston High Street. The company already has six practices and a hospital in Bristol.
To mark the opening the practice held an open day where clients and members of the public could meet staff, see behind the scenes and learn about the services available.
Visitors got to enjoy cake and refreshments, and children were given a special activity pack and a dog-shaped balloon.
Owner and senior partner, Richard Killen, said the move to Bath was driven by demand.
"There aren't any services like this, this side of Bath. I am from Ston Easton, I'm a local boy, so it's always been a dream to open a practice in Bath."
The new practice has created five jobs, two vets and three receptionists.
