Power cut affects home and businesses in south west of Bath

People in the Southdown area of Bath have experienced a power cut this afternoon. Western Power Distribution said around 200 homes in the Roundhill Park area lost power at 1.15pm, but the problem was resolved by 2.12pm. Meanwhile Bath Spa University said it had also lost power, resulting in a number of buildings being closed. There was also a power cut in Keynsham earlier this afternoon but that has now been resolved.
