Rail services between Bath and Westbury have been suspended after an incident in which a person has been hit by a train.
All lines are currently blocked and First Great Western is organising buses to replace its services.
The incident near Trowbridge is also affecting services between Westbury and Swindon.
Rail chiefs were expecting the lines to be blocked until around 9.45pm.
