Students across Bath have been taking to the stage for Christmas productions.

Pupils at St Gregory's Catholic College have put on West Side Story, the modern musical take on the classic love story Romeo and Juliet.

It ran at the end of last week, with audiences being entertained with much-loved songs including America, Maria and I Feel Pretty.

Meanwhile, King Edward's School has put on a production of 13, a play which was first produced by the National Theatre in 2011 and tackles difficult themes such as student protests and the London riots.

Kingswood School pupils have staged the Steven Sondheim classic Into the Woods, which features traditional characters like Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood in new situations.
