Customers were forced to leave a Chinese restaurant after staff became embroiled in a lunchtime bust-up.
More than 20 diners at The Real China restaurant were sworn at and witnessed staff throw plates of food to the floor yesterday afternoon.
City of Bath College media student Dan Paterson, 18, was at the Kingsmead Leisure Complex restaurant, with friend Jack Baguley, when the incident happened.
"We could hear an argument in the kitchen and we heard a pan drop. Three members of staff then came out and there was more shouting then they tipped all the buffet trays onto the floor.
"One of the kitchen staff came towards, said sorry and told us to leave."
Mr Paterson said while he was leaving he approached a security guard at the complex and told him what had happened.
"I used to be a real regular customer but I won't be going there again."
Manager of the restaurant, Hui Sheng, said he was very sorry for what happened and said the staff involved no longer worked there.
"I apologised to all of the customers and didn't charge any of them. It was a fight between kitchen staff. I am really sorry about what happened to our customers."
Bath police confirmed they were called to the Real China restaurant yesterday lunchtime but said the incident was resolved amicably.
