Teenager Siobhan-Marie O'Connor struck silver as Bath swimmers claimed a medal hat-trick on the opening day of the LEN European Short-Course Championships in Denmark.
Bitton's O'Connor, a former pupil of St Gregory's Catholic College, was the as runner-up in the women's 200m individual medley as team-mate Sophie Allen took bronze.
The pair, who train at the University of Bath-based national centre of excellence, finished strongly from a line of four swimmers chasing down gold medallist Katinka Hosszu.
Hungary's Hosszu set a new championship record to take gold in 2mins 04.33secs ahead of O'Connor in her second personal best of the day of 2:06.73. Allen was close behind in 2:06.86.
Jemma Lowe, who recently moved to Bath, took the British Swimming squad's third medal in Herning when she exhibited controlled pacing to win bronze in a fast 200m butterfly final.
Spain's Mireia Belmonte Garcia set a new European record to take gold in 2:01.52 while Germany's Fran Hentke took the silver in 2:03.47 and Lowe touched in 2:04.51.
Meanwhile, Michael Jamieson clocked a new British record in the semi-finals of the men's 100m breaststroke to comfortably book his place in tomorrow's final. He touched home in 57.89 to finish fourth in his semi-final and better the previous national mark of 57.91, set by James Gibson in 2008.
Bath team-mate Andrew Willis also posted a new personal best time in the heats with a time of 58.38. He was just outside that time in the semi-finals, however, finishing sixth and 12th overall in 58.52.
O'Connor, Aimee Willmott and FRan Halsall returned for the 4x50m freestyle final to close the session, teaming up with Hannah Miley to finish ninth in 1:40.26.
