A Nat Auckland header sent Larkhall Athletic through to the fourth round of the FA Vase but Bitton will have to wait to find out their fate after Saturday's tie at Moneyfields was abandoned in extra time.
Bitton were level at 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes but the officials were unable to calm the situation when tempers boiled over five minutes into extra time.
The two clubs now await the referee's report and the decision of the FA as to if and when a replay will take place, and what punishment will be issued.
Moneyfields had a player sent off in a goalless first half and Bitton eventually made the extra man count ten minutes into the second period through Luke Bryan.
However, the hosts equalised within four minutes and both sides missed chances to win it in normal time.
A report on the Bitton website described what happened next as a "battle ground" and added: "With a very hostile crowd of home supporters abusing and threatening the officials, the decision was made correctly to abandon the game."
Meanwhile, Auckland's second-half goal was all that separated Hellenic League side Binfield and the Larks in a physical and combative tie, which saw Athletic reach the last 32 for the third season running.
Larkhall keeper Chris Snoddy had to make a good early save and Binfield also hit the post in the opening minutes.
However, the visitors began to find their feet and were awarded a penalty when Mark Wall was pulled down in the box, only for Tyler Sibbick to send the spot-kick over the bar.
The Larks looked the more assured team in possession after the break and Sibbick shot narrowly wide, while Rob Hobbs curved an effort across goal.
The breakthrough came when, after a delay for treatment to the Binfield keeper, Auckland headed home from a corner.
The hosts pressed for an equaliser but Luke Scott cleared off the line to ensure that Larkhall progressed.
