Lizzy Yarnold continued her superb start to the skeleton World Cup season by winning a silver medal in Park City yesterday.
The University of Bath-based slider finished second behind Noelle Pikus-Pace, who was racing on her home track in the United States, with British team-mates Shelley Rudman fourth and Donna Creighton 21st.
Yarnold, who won gold in Calgary last week after Pikus-Pace was disqualified, said: "I'm delighted with my performance, we are racing every week and to expect to make the podium every time is a tall order.
"It's only my third time on the Park City track so I'm chuffed to retain the yellow jersey for the second week. The -25C conditions were tough, especially in a thin lycra suit, so I really hope it warms up soon!"
Dom Parsons came tenth in the men's race, with Kristan Bromley finishing 18th and Ed Smith 26th.
Meanwhile, Bath's Rose McGrandle broke the track record twice at Igls, Austria, on her way to gold in the Intercontinental Cup's first and second rounds.
Team-mates Laura Deas and David Swift were both sixth in the latter, after Deas took bronze and Swift finished seventh in the opening race.
McGrandle said: "I'm really pleased with the last two days - I broke the track record in training so I knew I had the possibility of sliding fast.
"But all the girls were posting some impressive times so it put the pressure on me to piece it all together and stay focussed. My coaches have been fantastic and I'm really happy I could win for them and the rest of the team."
The World Cup squad now travel to Lake Placid for the third race of the season on December 13, while the Intercontinental series continues with rounds three and four in Altenberg, Germany, next weekend.
Britain's Europa Cup team compete in Igls today.
