Two-try hero Semesa Rokoduguni lauded his Bath Rugby team-mates after inspiring their seventh straight win in all competitions on Sunday.
The Fijian winger touched down either side of half-time as Bath romped to a 28-5 success at Wasps in the Aviva Premiership. Matt Garvey also crossed the whitewash for the visitors late on.
Despite his impressive display, Rokoduguni was keen to deflect praise onto the rest of the squad and particularly Bath's forward pack, who were again in dominant form at Adams Park.
"I need to thank the rest of the boys because I couldn't have got my tries without their hard work all across the pitch," said 26-year-old Rokoduguni.
"The pack was pretty awesome. They drove all the scrums and lineouts forward, and that makes it a lot easier for the back-line to be able to do what they do.
"We spoke a lot about our away tactics before the game so to come away with a win like that is pretty good for our confidence."
Rokoduguni made a flying return to the Bath starting line-up having missed the previous two fixtures with a hamstring strain.
He joked that head coach Mike Ford had told him exactly what he expected upon his return to full fitness.
"Fordy spoke to me before the game and said: 'You need to score me two tries today, I am putting money on it'," said Rokoduguni, who took his try tally to four for the season.
"I said: 'No Fordy, please don't do that. You are putting pressure on me.' But it was really good that I was able to go out and do that.
"I didn't play the last two games because my hamstring was a bit tight. I was going to play last week but I spoke to the physios and they said they didn't want to risk me pulling it and missing the out in the Premiership.
"I was struggling a little bit towards the end but I didn't want to show it!"
