Oldfield School has been awarded Artsmark Gold for the fifth time.
The award is designed to show the school's commitment to dance, art, music and drama.
Head teacher Kim Sparling, pictured, said it was a great privilege to be recognised in this way once again.
She said: "We have been told that we are one of only 14 schools nationally to have received gold the maximum of five times."
