Pupils from Monkton Combe School enjoyed a "life-changing" trip to Malawi.
The group of students took part in a number of activities, including making mud bricks to build new schools, reading to and playing with children at Bangula Orphanage and having a sing off with inmates at Chikwawa Prison.
One pupil said the trip had been the highlight of their year.
The youngster said: "We were privileged to witness and experience such a refreshingly different way of life.
"I was inspired by local resourcefulness and how the people looked after they're beautiful country."
They added: "Our time in Malawi was an unforgettable adventure which was full of awesome experiences that have surely changed my life."
