A fashion show is being held at Bath Racecourse to improve facilities for cancer patients at the Royal United Hospital.
The Ladies Charity Fashion Lunch takes place on Thursday, September 12.
The special event is being held in aid of the Forever Friends Appeal, which is raising money for a new cancer centre at the hospital.
It has been organised by Paula Church, from contractors M J Church in Marshfield, who is a member of the appeal committee.
She said: "I wanted to combine my love of clothes with support for a cause that I am very passionate about.
"We never know when we are going to need the RUH, and I wanted to do something positive to raise funds for this wonderful cause."
The fashion show will see models showcasing the latest fashions from Definition of Bath.
Owner Maggie Vowles said: "I have had breast cancer and my husband currently has lung cancer.
"The Cancer Care Campaign is very close to my heart.
"And I think it is very important to support the anything that will help patients locally."
RUH cancer services manager Sarah Hudson will be speaking at the lunch.
She said: "All money raised from the event will be going towards the Forever Friends Appeal's Cancer Care Campaign.
"Their aim is to help build a new and pioneering cancer centre which balances clinical expertise with the provision of a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
"The new centre will make patients feel safe, supported and special so that they are able to get through their treatment with the least amount of stress."
Tickets for the event are £40 and can be bought from Bath Racecourse, Definitions in Broad Street.
