A group of fundraisers will be racing from the Houses of Parliament to the Royal United Hospital to raise money for a new scanner.
Nigel Arbury will be walking the 160 miles and has challenged his friends Stuart Mardon and Tom Barnard to try to beat him on their bikes, taking a longer route back.
All the money raised will go to The Bath Cancer Support Group, which is supporting the campaign for a new positron scanner to be used on cancer patients at the RUH.
