The Bath branch of the charity Cats Protection is looking for a volunteer fundraising officer.
The branch, which is run entirely by volunteers, needs someone who can spare a few hours each month to oversee its fundraising activities.
No previous fundraising experience is necessary as the charity can provide assistance and support materials.
A spokesman said: "The branch does a huge amount of work to help local cats but we really need someone to help raise money to enable us to carry on our work.
"The role is a varied one and includes organising raffles, attending fetes and fairs and getting support from local businesses."
He added that the person did not need to be a fundraising expert, just someone passionate about cats and with plenty of enthusiasm for the role.
