Bath Academy of Musical Theatre has announceed that West End star Kerry Ellis will be coming to Bath on Saturday, August 10 to deliver a singing masterclass.
Kerry is regarded as the leading lady of the West End, following her lead roles in shows such as Wicked, We Will Rock You, Oliver, My Fair Lady and Les Miserables – as well as achieving chart topping success with her projects with Brian May.
Recently she has appeared in the Les Miserables feature film, the arena tour of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, and the concert tour of the hit musical Rent.
The event in Bath is a rare opportunity for performers, teachers and anyone interested in musical theatre to observe Kerry working with a group of pre-selected singers and to take part in a Q&A session with her at the end of the evening.
Bath Academy of Musical Theatre runs a foundation course in musical theatre. The independent course is aimed at students wishing to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills – focussing on audition preparation for gaining entry onto full time drama and musical theatre courses.
