Video: Water babies making a splash for charity Tommy's

Babies and toddlers are taking to the water to raise money for charity.

Water Babies classes across the Bath and Bristol areas will see babies and toddlers carrying out challenges throughout July.

Money raised from this will go to the baby charity Tommy's, which helps mums to have a healthy pregnancy and prevent complications such as miscarriage, premature birth and still birth.

Babies are each set a fun challenge by their teacher they have never completed before, such as doing a glide swim underwater or swimming through a hoop.

Older babies and toddlers can raise money by swimming as far as they can underwater independently and completing a circus themed swimming circuit.

Water Babies leader Bryony Johnstone said: "For many parents the sight of their baby doing their first solo dip underwater, or swimming through a hoop for the first time is a very proud moment."

Splashathons are taking place during Water Babies classes at Church Farm, Winsley, and Fosseway, Radstock.
