A group of primary school pupils have been getting advice from the best in the world as they make robots out of Lego.
The 60 Year 4 and 5 children took part in an educational workshop at Ralph Allen School, which included involvement from a teenage team from Bath who recently won an international Lego robotics competition. Ralph Allen sixth former Sam Mason, the team's mentor and coach, spoke to the youngsters about the work they did to be crowned world champions in America in April.
The children then had the chance to come up with their own robotic creations. The workshop was also attended by representatives from local businesses, who were given a tour of Ralph Allen's new applied learning centre, which is opening to students in September.
