A farewell party was held in the sunshine for children and staff at a Bath nursery which is closing.
The Mews Nursery has been running for 25 years, with around 60 children on its books every year.
However, landlord the Salvation Army has decided to sell the Carfax Hotel site where the nursery is based in Great Pulteney Street, and so it will be closing on August 2.
A party was held in Henrietta Park to give staff and children the chance to say goodbye.
Joint manager Helen Harvey has been with the nursery for 18 years, and her two children Tilly, 11, and Oscar, eight, went there.
She said: "It is really sad news as it is a wonderful nursery.
"We wanted to have a fun event, a celebration of the nursery, and that is what today is all about.
"We have seen many children and staff come and go over the years, and a lot are here today.
"It is lovely to see some old faces."
The nursery currently has ten staff, who are all being made redundant.
The farewell party saw children playing on a bouncy castle, having their faces painted and enjoying arts and crafts in the sunshine.
Joint manager Rosie Nye, who has worked at the nursery for ten years, said: "Today is a focus on celebration of the work we have done, not sadness that it is ending.
"The Mews is such a lovely, happy place."
