The Enjoy Festival at Green Park Station aims to bring together diverse cultures

A festival which aims to bring together different cultures is taking place in Bath.

The Enjoy Festival will be a free family event at Green Park Station on Sunday, June 16, from 11am until 8pm.

The festival will include entertainment from African musicians, and dancers from Senegal, as well as hip-hop, break dancing and acoustic pieces.

Organisers Justin and Annie Green say they want to create a feelgood day for people of all ages.

Mrs Green said: "We are holding this as an all-inclusive event to create a genuine feelgood day.

"It has been a difficult time for many people. This is about seeing something new, meeting other people and bringing the community together to enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment.

"We are also proud that it's supported and funded by local people and businesses, and two housing associations have pulled together for the people who attend."

There will also be a range of food from across the globe, including West Indian jerk chicken, bread filled with African and European food, Noya's Kitchen with Vietnamese dishes, children's packed lunches and a tuck shop.

During the festival fundraising, gardener Georgina Quin from Salisbury will be dropping in as part of a charity cycling challenge for the Greenfingers gardening charity.
