Families have been enjoying the weekend sunshine with some street art performances in Bath.
The Bedlam Fair is part of the Fringe Festival and gives people the chance to enjoy a range of different music, comedy, dance and theatre acts throughout the city.
This year saw a new stage for some of the performers at the Bath Western Riverside housing development.
Audiences settled down onto the grassy embankment to enjoy entertainment from a range of acts, including Captain Id of Splott, Half Human Theatre, the Mattress Circus, the Electric Circus, the Honk Theatre, La Brigata and Play People.
Ben Cocks, who moved into Bath Western Riverside last August, had taken his family down to the event for the afternoon.
His five-year-old son Lucas was called up on stage to assist Captain Id with some of his magic tricks.
He said he particularly enjoyed the part where he conjured up chocolates into a previously empty pineapple-shaped box.
Mr Cocks said: "My dad had told me about what was going on, so we looked up some of the different things and decided to come along and see what was happening.
"I think it is really good. It is just great that there is something quite local which is happening free for people to come along and enjoy."
David Stevenson, who is one of the organisers of the Bath Fringe, had also popped along to enjoy the entertainment.
He said: "This is a new performance space, we are always looking to create new places for the performances.
"We hope this is a bit different and that it inspires people to enjoy life in the city."
In between performances people were encouraged to tuck into barbecue food and cakes, served by Miss Tee from Beetlewheels nosh shop.
Susan Young, from Crest Nicholson, said she was pleased to provide such an exciting new space for events and performances in Bath.
She said: "It's very exciting that the Bath Fringe is able to bring some of its performers here to Bath Riverside and make the most of what is the city's newest outdoor performance area.
"It's a brilliant example of how the local community is able to make the most of a space that only a few years ago was really run down.
"There's no way the Bath Fringe could have held any performances here before and we're delighted to be able to support this fantastic event."
