Openers Griffiths (20no) and Dudman (32no) wasted no time in rattling off the 67 runs required to beat Mangotsfield and earn Beechen Cliff's Year 7s a place in the second round of the Somerset Cricket Cup.
Van Gelderen had led by example as the visitors were restricted to 66-8 from their 20 overs, with the Beechen captain catching Duggan off the bowling of Davies in the first over.
He also bowled two maiden overs, while McDonald chipped in with 3-3 and Bradley took 1-0 from two excellent overs.
