Stephen Donald is hoping to sign off his Bath Rugby career with a victory when he plays his last match for the club in the final Aviva Premiership fixture of the season at Saracens tomorrow (2.30pm).
The New Zealand fly-half arrived at The Rec in November 2011, just weeks after kicking his side to World Cup glory but will end an 18-month stint with the club when he moves to Japanese side Mitsubishi Dynaboars this summer.
Bath must win at Allianz Park to give themselves a chance of finishing in the top six and securing a return to the Heineken Cup next season and Donald is determined to do all he can to help them do that.
"It is strange knowing that it's my last game but you can't really think about things like that and let them become a distraction," said Donald, capped 23 times by the All Blacks.
"It's the last game for a few of the guys who are moving on but you can't do anything any differently or think about anything any differently.
"You've just got to see it as another game and one that we are all desperate to win. It's huge for the team and the club to try to do that with where they want to be next year.
"That's the most important thing, so I won't get caught up in anything else.
"After the game it will probably be different and it will definitely be weird sitting in the changing room looking around at all the boys knowing that's the last time I'll be in that position with them all.
"But first and foremost it's about getting out there and trying to win the game."
Bath face a tough challenge against league leaders Sarries, who will be keen to bounce back from their Heineken Cup semi-final defeat at the hands of Toulon last Sunday.
But having beaten second-placed Leicester Tigers in their previous outing a fortnight ago another Bath win this weekend would cap a memorable swansong for Donald.
"It was huge to get the win over Leicester and the whole team were outstanding. It was a great game to be a part of," said the 29-year-old.
"We know it's going to be another tough challenge but we believe in ourselves and we are not going to go there with any fear.
"We're all massively looking forward to it because if we can win it'd be a pretty special way to end the season."
