An innovative partnership project is seeing a group of Bath schools team up with local businesses to put on extra-curricular learning opportunities for pupils.

Valley Added is a new scheme involving St Mark's CE School, St Stephen's Primary, Swainswick Primary, St Saviour's Infants and Juniors, as well as members of the wider Larkhall community.

The idea is to bring together children, young people and adults so they can work together to put on events, activities and workshops.

Part of the project is a pupil-led enterprise where the youngsters will make curries to be sold at the Alice Park cafe, raising money for further learning opportunities.

The budding young chefs showed off their skills, with the help of Bini Ludlow, from the Sweet Cumin Indian Cookery School, during an evening fundraising event at St Mark's.
