Fashionistas can get an insight into the world of fashion on the big screen with Bath in Fashion's Fashion on Film series of events.
The first film of the week on Monday at 8.30pm in the Little Theatre Cinema is Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel. Diana Vreeland has been described as "The century's most formidable arbiter of elegance."
She worked for Harper's Bazaar, advised Jackie Kennedy on her wardrobe, edited American Vogue and worked for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Royal Photographic Society is offering exclusive free preview screenings of the BBC Arena: Norman Parkinson 60-minute documentary produced by Rosemary Tratt at 6pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, hosted by director general, Dr Michael Pritchard. The Women is to be introduced by John Walford, show producer of Bath in Fashion, on Tuesday at 8.30pm, again at the Little Theatre cinema.
Patrick Woodroffe, a Bath-based lighting designer will be introducing This is It on Thursday April 18 at 8.30pm at the Little.
He conceived and designed the lighting for Michael Jackson's This is It Tour and designed the lighting for the opening and closing ceremonies for the London Olympic and Paralympic games.
Oscar-winning makeup and hair designer Peter Swords King is introducing the Hobbit: An unexpected Journey on Sunday April 21 at 3pm at Komedia.
