A sparkling 20-minute spell before the break secured another bonus point for Stothert & Pitt, who beat visiting Gordano 27-8 in Somerset Premier.
With Gordano edging the set piece but Stotherts prominent in the loose, them teams largely cancelled each other out until an inspired spell – spearheaded by Justin Carter – saw the Cranes pull away with four unanswered tries.
First Carter burst through the line to supply the pass for John Parks to cross before he added two well-constructed tries himself, one of which was converted by Liam Crooks.
Keeping up the pressure, Stotherts added a fourth try when the forwards drove Dave Peacock over from a rolling maul.
Gordano hit back on the stroke of half- time when the Sharks Chris Worgan sliced through to score.
The second half saw great endeavour and adventure from both sides again but tight and committed defence kept play mainly away from the scoring zones. Stotherts' Dan Smith proved particularly difficult to pass.
Despite the Cranes having the slope in their favour, Gordano enjoyed most of the territorial advantage but only had a Joe Rowsell penalty to show for their efforts.
Stotherts finished strongly, though, and Liam Rotherham's late try have the scoreline a flattering look.
Meanwhile, Tom Everitt grabbed a hat-trick of tries as Stothert & Pitt 2nds defeated St Bernadettes 3rds 60-12 in a friendly.
Saints scored well-deserved tries in each half but Stotherts proved too strong overall and touched down ten times.
Oscar Marsh helped himself to two of them, with Rob Rawlings, Sam Cox, Ed Powell, George McDermott and Luke Short adding the others. Kai Emmett kicked two conversions and Rawlings, Cox and Joel Dixson notched one apiece.
