Winter Olympics star Amy Williams leads Bath's Superstars into competition

Winter Olympics star Amy Williams will be taking part in a Superstars-style competition in Bath on Saturday. The bob skeleton gold medallist is one of the participants in Bath Rugby Foundation's Superstars Challenge at Bath Sports Centre from 9am to 11am. The event will be similar to the 70s TV show, which was revived in the city last month by the BBC for a Christmas show featuring some of the top British performers at the summer Olympics. There will be 11 local sports stars - one for each of the 11 teams taking part. They will also include some of the city's England netball players and Bath Rugby legends such as David Trick, Danny Grewcock and David Flatman. Organisations taking part include Bath Rugby sponsor Novia, the St John's Hospital charity, the Wilsher Group where Williams now works, vehicle dealer Rygor, law firm Thrings and the foundation itself. Local schools on board will be attending the event  to cheer for their allocated team and superstar. The challenges with consist of ten gruelling disciplines such as a 5000m cycle, 500m row, and the 20m tyre pull. Money raised from the event will help pay for a disability inclusion project to take place in the spring. The public are welcome to attend to cheer the teams on.
