Bath Rugby Youth under-14s got a taste of the big time on Saturday when they lifted a trophy in front of a packed crowd at The Rec.
The talented young team had won the Cup competition earlier in the day when the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s competition took place at Prior Park College, beating Cleve 46-0 in the final.
They received their silverware during half-time of Bath Rugby's Aviva Premiership win over London Welsh, as did Plate winners Chippenham following their 33-19 success against Frampton Cottrell.
Senior player Ben Williams did the presentationto Bath, who have also been invited to attend the JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series Final later this year.
The JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Cup is a prestigious festival for under-14s at grassroots clubs, now into its third year, taking place at the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs in 2012 and 2013.
The festival gives valuable experience of the sevens game to youngsters, helping in their rugby development and working towards developing the stars of the future.
