A member of the Victoria Art Gallery's Art on Thursday club has celebrated her 100th birthday.
Madge Norfolk is the oldest member of the club, which offers free art talks to blind and visually-impaired people.
She was born in Leeds on March 9 1913, and moved to Bath in 1961 with her late husband Les.
Her son Neil said: "Mum keeps her mind active by listening to the radio and audio books.
"She continues her education through audio courses on subjects ranging from Roman emperors to the history of jazz and keeps abreast of current affairs in Bath through the Month in Bath tapes.
"She enjoys described performances at the theatre and gets a lot of pleasure from the regular talks for the visually impaired at Victoria Art Gallery."
Mrs Norfolk marked her milestone birthday with tea and cake at the gallery.
