A national training provider for the catering and hospitality sectors is hoping The Bath Chronicle's Apprenticeship Awards will create more apprenticeship opportunities in the city.
HIT Training is the title sponsor for the inaugural awards and is also sponsoring the Bath Employer of the Year category.
Sandra Young, from the group's regional team, said: "We are a national training provider dedicated to the hospitality industry with offices in every region, and as the local HIT representative and fellow Bathonian, I am very pleased to be supporting these prestigious awards.
"It gives us the opportunity to highlight and promote the exceptional talent and supportive employers we have in our area.
"It is also an opportunity to get the word out to employers about the advantages of work-based apprenticeships and how they enable employees to gain recognised vocational qualifications while they work."
