Bradford Town got back to winning ways in Toolstation Division 1 with an emphatic 4-1 defeat of fellow promotion hopefuls Shepton Mallet. After suffering a heavy defeat at Oldland Abbotonians in midweek, Town climbed up to third in the table with a dominant home display. Jake Hiscox and Nick Rideout both went close for Town early on before the hosts took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Shaun Percival turned home Liam Milburn's cross. Shepton drew level ten minutes later when Josh Brigham hauled down a visiting attacker in the box and Ben Cleverley sent Charlie Haydon the wrong way from the spot. Parity lasted only a minute, though, and Martin Johnson headed Bradford back in front after confusion in the visitors' box. Town struck twice more in the opening ten minutes of the second half, with Milburn's cross-cum-shot finding its way into the net before Hiscox completed the rout with a fine lob. Corsham Town remain one place above Bradford in second following their comfortable 2-0 victory at Keynsham Town. Efforts from Ross Lye and Kent Kaupinnen signalled Corsham's intent early on but it took them until just before the interval to break the deadlock when Lye let fly with an unstoppable strike from distance. Keynsham threatened a response in the early exchanges of the second half but Dan King settled the visitors' nerves when he curled home a free-kick from the edge of the box.
