Corsham Park Rangers were unable to build on their fine start in the Subsidiary Cup as they went down 4-1 to local rivals Corsham United.
Rangers had defeated SK Fruits Limited Chippenham League Premier Division outfit AFC Melksham seven days earlier but were knocked off top spot by Andy Wilkins' brace and a goal each from Joe Pritchard and James Hernandez. Tim Spear replied for the Division 3 leaders.
Premier Division pace-setters Biddestone Social picked up their second win in Group A as they defeated Old Road 2-1. Kieran Baggs and veteran John O'Meara found the net for a much-changed Social side, with Adam Foskett replying.
Bradford Renegades picked up another two points to close in on the Division 1 title, defeating Bromham 5-1 in a game that was switched to their Poulton ground due to an unfit pitch at New Road.
Sam Jordan's treble took his tally for the season to 69, while George Palmer and Jordan Pinder completed Renegades' nap hand. Mark Coward hit the target for Bromham.
FC North Wiltshire stretched their lead over Old Road at the top of Division 4 to five points with an 8-1 triumph over FC United of Chippenham.
Simon Gray top-scored with four, while Daniel Gilbert, Dan Jackson, Dan Deacon and Dan Dring added the others. Adam Gerrard replied for the losers, who played much of the game with ten men following an injury to Jack Hanks.
