Alex Carter shrugged off a knee injury to win one of Team Bath AC's four golds at the Wiltshire Schools' Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
Oliver Shad, John Howorth and Yasmin Watling were also victorious as the event finally went ahead after two weather postponements.
Carter had been sidelined since early January but intensive cross training in the swimming pool kept his fitness up and allowed the 17-year-old to avenge his pre-Christmas defeat to Will Christofi in the tri-county championships.
"The knee still wasn't perfect during the race but I got around, though I will need further physio treatment," said Carter, who was 14 seconds clear of the field in the senior boys' race after clocking 24mins 30secs.
Shad won the inter boys' race in 21:47, while Howorth's time of 14:21 was just two seconds faster than twin brother Robert in the junior boys' category. Cameron Perkins ensured a Team Bath clean sweep as he finished third in 14:27.
Jonah Veakins was runner-up to John of Gaunt's Hayden Atkins in the minor boys' age group and 14-year-old Watling won the junior girls' race in 12:23, with team-mate Caitlin Wosika third in 14:07.
* Kingswood School's Lily Landman helped Avon win team gold at the South West Schools' Cross Country Championships, staged at Blaise Castle in Bristol.
She finished seventh in the minor girls' race in 9:29, while schoolmate Alexandra Hart also made the winning team after clocking 9:37 for tenth place.
King Edward's runner George Chapman was 24th in the inter boys' race in 22:23 and Themis Bower of Ralph Allen clocked 15:13 for 25th place in the junior boys' age group.
Rory Howorth's time of 4:45 was enough to secure first place in the under-11 boys' race in the Gloucestershire Cross Country League on Saturday.
Fellow Team Bath runner Rebecca Pierce was fourth in the senior women's race in 27:41, which was good enough to wrap up the overall series victory.
Tamsin Simmonds was tenth in 28:29, while Dan Jones was in eighth in the senior men's race in 33:28 and Dave Vaudin was top veteran over-55 in 36:40.
Carlos Casado (23rd, 35:22), Barry Awan (39th, 36:42), Tom Hutchison (55th, 37:52) and Paul King (66th, 38:20) joined Jones and Vaudin in the Team Bath sextet which finished fifth in the team standings.
* Team Bath's Nick Watson finished 73rd in Sunday's Blackmore Vale Lions half-marathon.
He completed the course in 1hr 31:26, while George Lippiatt was 140th in 1.38:38.
* Ewen Malloch claimed a narrow victory in the hilly Longleat 10k on Sunday.
The Team Bath man's time of 34:54 was just three seconds clear of Avon Valley Runners' Michael Towler, while Matthew Young (sixth, 36:19) and Steven Curtis (12th, 37:53) also made the top 20 from a field of 811 finishers.
In the women's race, Zosia Brown finished a fine fourth in 40:42, with Lucy Taylor seventh in 42:48 and Annabel Harford tenth in 45:41.
