TOOLSTATION DIVISION 1 Bradford Town climbed into the Toolstation Division 1 promotion places as Nick Ridout's hat-trick helped them run out 4-0 winners at Welton Rovers.
Town, who have now won their last eight league matches and scored 32 goals in the process, had to weather an early spell of pressure from the hosts but took the lead against the run of play through Ridout on 21 minutes. He doubled his and his side's tally with a quality second goal that drew applause from both sets of supporters before the break.
Ridout had to wait until five minutes from time to complete his hat-trick, converting a spot-kick after Welton's Greg Dando was red-carded for deliberately handling the ball in the box. Bradford rubbed salt into Welton's wounds on the stroke of full-time when a free-kick deflected off Dan Scrivens and into the net.
Corsham Town suffered a 5-0 home hiding at the hands of Sherborne Town, while Keynsham Town beat struggling Wellington 5-2 at Crown Field.
