Somerset are leaving the door open on returning to Bath in 2013, having announced that they are yet to confirm a venue for their June 16 home CB40 clash with Leicestershire.
The county had been due to face Durham at the Recreation Ground last season, but the wet weather saw the fixture moved to Taunton.
However, there is a possibility Bath could host the Leicestershire 40-over match next summer, with Somerset chief executive Guy Lavender saying: "We are investigating the possibility of playing the match at Bath.
"That is pretty much why we have left it as a 'TBC' at the moment, and there are a other options too.
"It will really depend on a range of issues connected to Bath, but in principle it is good to play some fixtures outside Taunton if we can.
"It has to be practical, though, and that means the pitch has got to be up to standard and it has to be commercially viable. We have kept the option available."
Somerset will open their bid for a maiden County Championship title with two away fixtures – at Durham and Surrey – before playing their first match at Taunton when defending champions Warwickshire visit on April 25.
Australia visit for a four-day tour match on June 26, while England Lions play one-dayers at Taunton on August 22 and 24, both against the Bangladesh A side.
Somerset, meanwhile, will play five of their opening seven Friends Life t20 group matches at Taunton. Their campaign opens with a home match against Gloucestershire on July 5.
One of the highlights of Gloucestershire's cricket fixtures for 2013 will be the arrival of Australia A in June.
With Ashes fever all set to take hold next summer, the Australia A team will take on Gloucestershire in a three-day game in Bristol, beginning on June 21.
On the domestic scene, Gloucestershire's LV= County Championship season begins with an away fixture against Essex in Chelmsford on Wednesday, April 10, with their first home fixture against Northamptonshire on Wednesday, April 24.
Gloucestershire welcome Somerset to the County Ground on two occasions next summer – the first on Friday, July 26, for a Friends Life t20 encounter and then on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, in the Clydesdale Bank 40 group stage.
Gloucestershire chief executive Tom Richardson said: "Next year promises to be a landmark year for Gloucestershire cricket.
"Our ground redevelopment project is well under way and we all eagerly anticipate the opening of our new pavilion during the latter part of the season.
"Hosting both Australia A in Bristol for a three-day match in June and England Lions (against Bangladesh) in August are added bonuses and we have much to look forward to next year.
"We are very excited to be introducing the Friends Life t20 to Cheltenham and are confident it will be a great success on what is a small outfield with the crowd very close to the action.
"We always try to have exciting fixtures at the Cheltenham College ground but, of course, we do have to take our place as one of 18 first-class counties in what is always a scheduling challenge.
"However, to have a four-day match against Worcestershire – our northern neighbours – and local matches against Glamorgan and Warwickshire is really good news.
"Kent are also good opponents, so we are pleased with the way it has gone."
