The snow might be about to disappear, but the exhibitionists of Wiltshire got together for one last hurrah – with a mass "naked photo" in the snow event on top of one of the county's most famous landmarks.
They came under the cover of darkness and whipped their kit off in the snow above Westbury's White Horse and attempted to spell out the word "naked".
But the week-long shenanigans have left a lasting legacy in the county – with thousands of pounds being raised for Salisbury Hospital's Stars Appeal for better neo-natal care for premature babies.
Since the Western Daily Press broke the story of Leanne Myers' Facebook page at the start of this week, the story has gone global with the wacky mum being interviewed on US television and newspapers from Australia to Arabia and from Germany to the United States reporting on the phenomenon.
Leanne started a Facebook page called "Wiltshire, Let's Get Naked in the Snow", last weekend, with a cheeky picture of her neighbour and her posing in the snow in just their undies. A few friends joined in and within 48 hours hundreds of people had posted their own pictures – WI Calendar Girls-style. After the Western Daily Press told the world of the tale on Tuesday, the phenomenon mushroomed, and now more than 11,000 people had joined the group.
Leanne has now had a website created, and started a Just Giving charity page which was nearing £2,000 in donations in just a couple of days for the Stars Appeal.
She said raising money for the neo-natal unit was a cause important to her. "It is very dear to our hearts, because in 2000 our daughter Ellie was six-and-a-half weeks premature and was in the neo-natal intensive care unit for five weeks, where they detected a heart condition," she said.
"The support and treatment we received was second to none and without the hard work and dedication of the staff we never would have got through. Ellie is now a bubbly, sporty, happy little lady who is the light of our lives," she added.
"The way the site has grown is just amazing and to see so many people getting into the spirit of it is great," she added.
Some people have had to be barred from the Facebook group – some 27 of them – for posting offensive comments on people's pictures, and Facebook itself has taken a few of the photos down for being a bit too revealing.
The photos and fundraising is continuing – Leanne is putting together a calendar to sell to raise more money for the Stars Appeal.
