Commuters in Bath endured a nightmare journey home tonight as the forecast snow arrived just in time for the rush hour.
Reports of traffic at a standstill, roads blocked and buses abandoned came in from all around the city as the snow turned the highways into skating rinks.
People were still struggling to get home as the clocked ticked towards 9pm tonight and many took to the social media site Twitter to tell of their ordeals.
