A motorist has died in a single-vehicle crash on the A367 Bath New Road in Radstock.
Police have confirmed the fatality following the accident earlier this morning, although details at present are still sketchy.
The road is shut in both directions between Coomb End and Bath Old Road while accident investigators carry out their inquiries.
