A contract has been awarded by Bath and North East Somerset Council to a company to redevelop Victoria Park's skate park.
Users of the skate park became a scrutiny panel to judge designs which hope to become approved plans.
A new-look skate park could be open by Easter next year.
As part of the Bath Chronicle's partnership with City of Bath College, its media students met councillor David Dixon (Lib-Dems, Oldfield), project officer Paul Pierce, and skaters to find out more.
