MATCH REPORT: Larkhall Athletic 1 Mangotsfield United 1
Jake Gardner's first goal for Larkhall Athletic rescued a draw against Mangotsfield United at Plain Ham on Saturday.
A game of few chances and variable quality in Southern League Division 1 South & West looked destined to head Mangotsfield's way until Gardner struck five minutes from time.
Following a goalless first half, the visitors took the lead against the run of play after the break. The Larks failed to deal with a dangerous ball into the box after a strong United break and Lewis Powell was on hand to fire his side in front.
The home side fought back, though, and snatched a share of the spoils late on when full-back Gardner fired a superb cross-cum-shot into the top corner of the net.
