Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic could be on his way out of the club and set to join Italian side Roma, according to reports.
Serbia international Nastasic has fallen further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium following the summer arrival of Eliaquim Mangala and the Premier League champions are prepared to let him leave.
The Daily Star claims Roma and City officials held talks over a possible move after the mid-week Champions League tie between the pair and a bid could now be tabled in January.
City are looking for a fee of £12million for Nastasic, a similar amount to which they paid Fiorentina for his services in 2012.
