The first signs of autumn did not deter visitors to the Great Bath Feast pavilion in Stall Street today.
Lots of exotic, colourful dishes were on offer to brighten up the gloomy weather.
Cuban, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and good old fashioned English food was on offer at the various stalls in the middle of SouthGate.
The smells were irresistible as stallholders cooked up a delicious array of food from around the world.
Paul and Caroline Robinson from Weston produce their own organic lamb from a farm in Lansdown Lane in Weston.
They had a whole lamb cooking on a spit, served in a bap with delicious chutneys and accompaniments.
Paul said: "Our lambs are very hardy as they graze on the hills at Lansdown Lane, they eat the very best of clover and this really does affect how they taste."
It is a busy time for Paul and Caroline, who run catering stalls at festivals and food fairs around the region. They specialise in lamb, which can be ordered direct from their website http://bathorganicfarms.co.uk/.
They also make burger and sausages from the lamb meat.
The Great Bath Feast continues until October 12, with demonstrations, tastings and events around the city.
