Clare Balding's other love, apart from sport, is rambling and walking in the countryside.
She loves it so much she has just written a book about it, and she will be in Bath next week to share her love of walking and the British countryside.
The nation's favourite female sports presenter will be appearing at the Forum on Thursday evening, October 9, to promote the book, Walking Home: My Family and Other Rambles.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm and has been organised by Toppings bookshop in Bath, are £20 and will include a copy of the book.
A spokesman for Toppings said: "This will be a delightful evening with one of the loveliest national figures.
Come along to hear Clare talk about walking, interviewing and life at the forefront of British television."
In her Radio 4 show, Rambling, Clare combined her joy in nature and her inimitable skill as an interviewer, talking hundreds of walks with well known figures and using the intimacy of a shared ramble to give a unique insight into their lives and interests.
In her new book she discusses her own love affair with walking in the English countryside, and the way she discovered parts of Britain she had never seen before.
This is the story of walks from the South Downs to Milngavie, and the people she has met along the way.
Tickets can be bought online at www.topping-books.co.uk/events/bath or 01225 428111.
