The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has put together a range of statistics to see what life is like for people aged over 65 in the UK.
Today (October 1) is the International Day Of The Older Person, which was established by the United Nations General Assembly in December 1990.
The findings are based on life, work, health, care, and population.
