The restaurant at The Bath Priory Hotel has retained its Michelin star.
The luxury hotel, owned by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, has won several accolades and awards for its restaurant, run by executive chef Sam Moody and his team.
He said: "The Michelin guide is arguably the most revered restaurant guide among chefs, restaurant critics and guests alike and we're honoured to retain our star for the third year running. Our team here at The Bath Priory is young and ambitious and have worked so hard to deliver a consistently high standard of food. This is a fantastic achievement and I'm so proud of them all".
The hotel has its own kitchen garden, where they grow salad and vegetables used for restaurant signature dishes.
Mr Moody can add the Michelin star to other awards won during his time at The Bath Priory, notably an Acorn Award in 2011 and in 2013, the Hotel Catey award for Chef of the Year.
His food is simple, with a huge focus on fresh produce, flavour and balance. He loves developing young chefs and works closely with Bath City College helping to inspire the next generation of chefs.
He declares that restaurants and food are his life and that he loves eating out.
