A young woman who is attempting to run 53 marathons in 53 days was in Bath for the 38 leg of her challenge.
Amy Hughes, 26, a sports therapist from Shropshire, is doing the record-breaking challenge to raise money for brain cancer in children and young people.
She looked amazingly fit for someone who has already run almost 1,000 miles, and was not tired or sore, and had no blisters.
She said: "I feel remarkably well really, it has all been great. The only trouble is I have had tummy trouble for the last two days, and that has been hard."
Amy was offered a complimentary meal and overnight stay at the Queensberry Hotel in Russell Street.
"Everybody is being so kind to me, when I went to my room there was a lovely box of chocolates for me," she said.
She eats a breakfast of porridge and toast every morning, lots of chocolate in the day, and a healthy meal at night.
"I am always starving when I finish," she said.
Her route in Bath was along the canal to Bristol and back again.
The gruelling challenge began on August 6 in Chester, and since then she has been running a staggering 26 miles a day in different cities across the UK.
"It's not so bad really, you get used to it, " she said, as if she was describing a walk in the park.
She decided to undertake the challenge after the young daughter of a friend developed a brain tumour.
She has already raised £12,000 which will go to the Isabelle Lottie Foundation.
From Bath she was travelling on to Bristol, then to Cardiff, Swansea and Gloucester before she heads back north.
She is accompanied en route by friend Dave Keighley, who cycles alongside.
Other runners turn up to show support and keep her company.
In Bath she was joined by James Day, 23, from Yeovil, Jim Smith, 36 from Peasedown St John and Andy Persoon from Bristol.
She said: "I have had amazing support every step of the way, and so many people have donated and sent me lovely messages on Facebook and Twitter."
