Riders from the Tour of Britain have made their way through Bath city centre.
The 150 competitive cyclists started on the Royal Avenue in the heart of Royal Victoria Park before travelling through the Royal Crescent and The Circus and passing Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths.
Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish were amongst the riders being cheered by hundreds of people who lined Bath's streets to see the race.
Friday is day six of the Tour of Britain and the riders have left Bath heading for Hemel Hemstead.
Tom Tyler, a fireman from Bristol, said: "To see so many people out is really good for us and the area, Bristol and Bath are the cycling capitals of the South West."
Joe and Jayne Leonard from Kingswood have been following the race around the region.
Mrs Leonard said; "I think cycling has become popular because of our success in the Tour de France and the Olympics. We haven't been to a start before - the atmosphere is superb."
Children from schools across Bath and North East Somerset have been chosen to lead the Tour of Britain cycle race as it makes its way through Bath.
Eight year old Eve Woodward is cycling with her sister Lucy. She said: "I'm looking forward to it - we might get to meet the riders afterward."
Neville and Jenny Blyth, from Keynsham, were cheering on their daughter 15-year-old Erin, who attends Hayesfield Girls' School, who had been chosen to take part the ride.
Mrs Blyth said: "We are very proud and she was really thrilled. She cycles to school everyday from Keynsham and that's why she was chosen.
"The atmosphere is really good - it's all so friendly and relaxed."
Ria Gane, 35, from lower weston, was at the start with her 8-month-old daughter Betty Gane Imeson.
She said: it's really great here this morning. I think they've done a really great job. It's great to see all the children here - that's the best part."
Jilly Bryant of St Andrews School said: "We are very pleased to join in The children are very excited - they have been waiting for weeks."
The Circus Area Residents' Association put on tea and cake for people gathered in The Circus to watch the tour.
City centre resident Helen Jones said: "I thought it was really well done. I loved the children coming through first - it set the tone for fun.
"It's been a terrific atmosphere and good organisation."
Val Mason added: "It's lovely to see so many people out and we've had perfect weather. It would be good to have cycle only roads more often."
